Prone to Wander, Prone to Leave; Take My Heart!

Quick post today between bites of a turkey wrap, munching on carrot sticks, and a thousand chapters to read…

I thought this was an interesting blog post about changing lyrics in “Come Thou Fount.” Particularly, I found the author’s personal adaptation resonated with me:

“Prone to bolt out the door like a dog if I see it cracked open for but the briefest of seconds, Prone to need grace one thousand times, for the things I promised myself I’d never do again but still did.”

I don’t want to wander, but I do. And when I do, Christ is there with so much love and forgiveness. Amazing love.

Go read and ruminate.
